Our Journey Since 2000
At Vitasand, our motivation to start aquarium sand production stems from our belief that sand and gravel are the most fundamental and decisive elements of aquarium decoration.
When we entered the sector, we noticed that alternatives beyond crushed shell sand were quite limited. To fill this gap, we began increasing diversity by processing natural sand and gravel carefully selected from various mines and quarries. Over the years, we expanded our natural color scale, focusing on producing aesthetic gravel for bowls and professional wash-free series bucket sands that eliminate setup hassle and provide instant clarity for aquariums.
Following extensive R&D studies in our other area of expertise, pigeon minerals, we introduced our 'White Crete' and 'Red Crete' products. We added the unique 4-way pigeon mineral containing 12 different natural colors of stone—a first in the world—and the 1000-degree kiln-fired pigeon clay, which protects bird health by regulating their digestive systems, to our product portfolio.
Vitasand has always distinguished itself from imitations through its quality and unique formulation. Today, we lead the sector with nearly 200 varieties of aquarium sand, 15 types of pigeon minerals, 4 types of bird sand, and special aquarium rocks.
Our primary goal is to provide high-quality, reliable products that prioritize animal health to the aquarium, pigeon, and bird sectors. With the trust we receive from you, we aim to continue creating a difference in both Turkish and global markets through our innovative approach.
